  1. It’s still cold and grey (or white), but the days are getting longer and spring can’t be too far away… and you have a lovely view whatever the weather!

  2. I love the white days of winter–we are in the brown days. Dusty and dry and windy and cold. Everything has a film of sandy soil and we are in need of a good snow or rain to wash it away.

  3. Having grown up in a subtropical climate, I never understood winter blues until I moved to places where winter has its grip on you for months. Spring, come on over!

    • It’s true – they have been cosseted most of the winter… and I suppose it’s a great excuse for not removing all the leaves and winter debris from the ground yet! 😀

  4. We typically have more snow in the north than the south but for the last couple of years all that has changed. We were forecast some more snow on Sunday but it amounted to nothing, then on Monday I traveled to London for work and everything just went white! The further south I got the more snow I saw, it was weird! Normally when I come down here it’s warmer than up north at home but not this time around. I’m glad I brought my wooly jumper! The days are getting longer though, the nights are light at 5.30pm and that fills me with joy but I don’t think the cold temperature is going anywhere fast and a ‘London Cabby’ told me he thought it would be cold all throughout March!

  5. Well, I have to say the snow looks okay, it IS still winter! I had to break out the hose today for my evergreens. It is really getting dry around here and very cold so the evergreens are getting winter burn on the needles of some species. I would rather have a bit of snow!

    • We had a very cold and dry winter last year, and a lot of evergreens suffered. There’s still time for snow where you are… or at least a little rain? 😀
