Just a quick post today. My view is more colourful this week I think, but perhaps it is only my perception of it today, as it is a lovely breezy summer’s day with pretty white clouds rushing across a blue sky. 😀
Do join me in posting a photo of one particular view of your garden each Tuesday. Have a great week!

I think you are right Cathy, there is more colour and still lots of green, which I love to see. Here’s my link: https://myhesperidesgarden.wordpress.com/2016/07/05/tuesday-view-5th-july-2016/
Glad you joined me again Christina. I think there will be more to report next week, as I need to get into the rockery and do some tidying up soon. The insects have been deterring me so far!
I didn’t realize there were so many mosquitos in Germany. They don’t usually keep me out of the garden during the day but sometimes in the evening they can be a problem.
We have had a real plague this year, as there were floods for several weeks in the spring in areas near us. But some years when it is dry we barely see any at all.
The colors are rich. A nice “breezy” day sound wonderful. After a rainy holiday weekend here the sun is back out and the air is steamy. Glad I was out early. https://pbmgarden.wordpress.com/2016/07/05/the-tuesday-view-5th-july-2016
Early mornings in the garden are good… I often take a little walk around before even getting dressed! 😉 ( Only in the back garden though, where no one can see me! )
It sounds like you’re having a beautiful day there, I wish we could say the same for here! Colors do look crisper and brighter when the air is clear, but it’s a hot and humid afternoon following behind a slight rain last night, so crisp and bright are not on the menu.
I’ve made it in this week though, and the weather is perfect for tropical gardens 🙂

Thanks for joining me again Frank! The wind dropped this evening and the mozzies were out in gangs again, looking for victims! Tropical weather does have its down side but the plants are loving it. I even thought for a brief moment today that I have ‘too many plants’… I then got a catalogue for autumn planting in the post… 😉

Yes, I think you do have more color this week, Cathy. I can’t believe how long your Centranthus is lasting! Glad you’re having a nice day for a change! We had picture perfect weather here where I am for the long holiday weekend, with some rain overnight and this morning, but a mostly sunny afternoon. The humidity is climbing, though–as Frank, who lives about 40 miles from me, it’s going to be perfect for tropical gardens the next several days!
Here is my view today: https://cosmosandcleome.wordpress.com/2016/07/05/tuesdays-views-the-side-porch/
PS—I also tramp about the gardens in the early mornings in just my nightgown!
Hi Kimberley! Yes, mornings are a quiet time for enjoying the garden in peace. 😉 The Centranthus is going over now and when my sister leaves I will go out and cut back some of it as I don’t think the hawk moths will visit it now. I hope the Russian sage will start opening by next week too as it is just starting to show a hint of blue. Will try and get a feature done this Thursday. 🙂
Such a beautiful garden. Maybe I will join in from time to time.
That would be lovely – the more the merrier! 🙂
Nice to see your wonderful garden again Cathy. 🙂 It’s as beautiful as always.
Thank you Nancy! Looks like the sun is going to shine all day here. Have a great week!
I think the colors are brighter, but it may be that the sun also seems just a little bit brighter! It’s always something to behold!
Thanks Debra! As some plants fade others fill in, and the lavender is having a good season this year.
It does look bright and very full of bloom 🙂 I wish that were as true in my garden, but this is unquestionably our slow season in the desert! For all that, here is my post: https://smallsunnygarden.blogspot.com/2016/07/tuesday-view.html
I do hope this comment reaches you, as I’ve been having quite a struggle with commenting again lately!
Hi there. Sorry you landed in my spam folder! Glad you could join in. I’ll be over to take a look just as soon as I have sorted through the spammed content! 😉
Thanks for checking, Cathy! I’ve been slow to leave comments lately since so often they disappear into the void 😉
I must admit I rarely check my spam, so good to be reminded. Another fellow blogger had also landed there recently!
That corner looks great again! This is my Tuesday view, although a little bit late: http://timpingradina.blogspot.ro/2016/07/the-tuesday-view-6th-july-2016.html
Hi Anca. Love your view too. It’s looking very much like summer now. 🙂
Your view holds up well over time and it’s fun to see the subtle changes week by week.
Some weeks the changes are really subtle, but others I can see a lot of change. Observing it is so useful!
Are the mosquitoes gone?
No, not yet! I think they like it here and are sticking around for a while… 😦
