I think the tide was just turning. We saw a seal here only a few metres from the beach, but he kept bobbing below the surface so I couldn’t get a photo!
It was our favourite place for holidays too. We used to go several times a year as we had use of a caravan there. Such a beautiful part of the country!
Beautiful shot, Cathy. What a pity you didn’t stay a bit longer, we live only 20 minutes from Cromer. Please give us a shout when you around the next, I’ll put the kettle on. ๐
Hope you a great time in Norfolk,
Dina & co
Thank you Dina! If I manage to get to Blakeney for a bit longer one day I will be sure to contact you and drop by! ๐ It was so lovely to be there again and gaze out at the sea and the marshes – we left Blakeney late afternoon and stopped at the visitor centre for a cuppa before continuing along the coast road to Cromer. Then we had to go home… far too short a visit!
How lovely and you had a beautiful day to enjoy it. I hope you had a Cromer crab for your lunch?
We had perfect weather – 26ยฐ with a sea breeze. Only wish we could have stayed longer!
What a sky! How calm the Sea looks. ๐

I’ve never seen it so blue, lucky you! Enjoy your holiday.
Thanks Christina. It was a perfect day and the water was quite warm! ๐
A beautiful sunny day! I used to have relatives in Hemsby Norfolk and we would have such fun walking along the beach and then sharing a pub lunch!
How lovely. North Norfolk is one of my favourite places. ๐
What a photo! The calm and soothing ocean and sunshine have brightened this foggy morning!
Glad it brightened up your day. I hope the fog clears soon!
Endless blue, love it.
The weather was absolutely perfect that day! ๐
Glad you made it to the sea. It’s so lovely there.
Yes, it was regenerating. A lovely day! ๐
Such a wonderful photograph, I can almost smell the sea!
That seaside smell is wonderful isn’t it! ๐
Great colours!
The cloudless sky made it so blue! ๐
Beautiful! I wish I was there!
And I wish I could have stayed longer than just a few hours. Sigh. ๐
Oh Cathy your photo and the very name of Cromer brings back fond memories of childhood day trips and holidays on the Norfolk coast ๐

Ahhh! I feel refreshed just looking at that view!!!
It was refreshing Lori, and I feel my batteries were recharged. Could be a while before I see the seaside again!
Wow. Perfect holiday picture!
It was a perfect day Simone, with so much open sky there! ๐
I could stare for hours at that sea of blue. So peaceful!
Me too, Debra. Sadly we had far too little time there…
I very much like that part of the Norfolk coast!
So do I. Beautiful, isn’t it!
