In a Vase on Monday: Bee’s Delights

After a week off from blogging with a horrible cold I am pleased to be back with a vase again this Monday, joining Cathy at Rambling in the Garden.

The weather has been wonderful this past week, and the garden has sprung to life with bees and butterflies as well as flowers, allowing me to use this fun vase my friend gave me last year…

From left to right:

The borage-like flower is Trachystemon orientalis, then a yellow Pansy, an orange Cowslip hybrid, Narcissus Tete a tete, and a blue Scilla.

Next some lilac pansies and no-name Hellebores.

In the centre, Puschkinia, blue and white Grape Hyacinths (Muscari), a ‘Heart’s Delight’ tulip and a purply red violet (which has appeared from nowhere).

Further to the right some pink and purple Anemone blanda, some ‘Glory in the Snow’ (Chionodoxa), another Grape Hyacinth (‘Peppermint’) and more Hellebores.

Can you spot the bumble bee in the next photo? I think that is what you call photobombing!

Hope you are also getting some spring sunshine this week, and maybe a few April showers for the garden too. 😉
