Cathy I love all your flowers, I do not know which one to choose, they are all wonderful and the colors are lovely. Enjoy them in your garden. Greetings from Margarita.
I wonder if some creatures dug yours up? This is the first time I have grown these big ones and I have been very impressed with how long they flower. π
I grew both of them next to each other (both for the first time) and the colour was practically the same. Purple Sensation was more of a complete, denser globe, while P. Rain is more airy and the star-shaped petals stand out better. I love them both! π
The purples have it…shhhhhh, it is Sunday.

Thanks Margarita!
Brilliant colors in the sunshine! β€
The Knautia has surprised me with its different shades of pink. π
I like the idea of a silent Sunday. These are great captures. π
Thanks Beth!
Love these. I planted lots of alliums in fall but the weβre all no-shows.

Perhaps. Maybe I should try them in pots next time.
You’re so right with “silent” and no words! They are more than capable of speaking for themselves! Beautiful!
Thanks Debra!
‘Purple Rain’ is really nice, looks a bit darker than ‘Purple Sensation’.

Oh my knautia macedonica has sadly disappeared. Your post has prompted me to make a note to add them to my seed list. Thanks Cathy.
I have a red one in the old garden, but this mixed pastels one is lovely too. π
